Gotta get mine to look more like this! I've got an '82 Virago 750. Any idea what front fork was used in this build.

ClassifiedMoto builds them well, and this one (above in the original post) by Eric Meglasson ( http://www.bikeexif.com/yamaha-virago-… ) is obviously directly influenced by ClassifiedMoto. (this one below)

Also, NEWS
BikeExif just posted this XV920-based Scrambler yesterday, by another expert Virago modifier, Greg Hageman at Doc's Chops. (this is his 4th, at least, and they are all spectacular, two cafe variations a 750 and a 920, an XV1100 Vincent homage, and this 920 scrambler, maybe more...)

Check out all of BikeExif's Yamaha XVs... (with some other yamahas in for good measure, too...

Pipeburn has a few, as well.

R6 or R1 front end swaps are what this builder, and John Ryland at Classified Moto uses, usually.
Ryland actually has used chain-drive 920 motors, and modified R6 cast rear swing arms, to fit wider rear tires, as well. The stock shaft drive on most other Viragos limits rear wheel and tire width.
